Glasgow Choir is a new contemporary choir for excellent amateur and aspiring-professional singers, created by the team behind professional choirs London Contemporary Voices and Glasgow Voices (pictured on this site).
We bring together passionate singers who love making music with others and want to perform a range of music to a high standard - without losing the joy, connection and community that make singing special.
Our members include experienced non-professional singers, emerging artists and professional musicians looking for a creative, inspiring weekly space to sing for fun.
An auditioned choir, we welcome singers from a broad range of musical backgrounds, identities and lived experiences.
For 15 years, the team behind Glasgow Choir have been running exciting singing projects across the UK. We have pictured some of these below, to give a flavour of what’s to come!
Glasgow Choir embraces an ethos similar to Kin Choir, the non-professional choir affiliated with London Contemporary Voices.
Glasgow Choir will be affiliated with professional choir Glasgow Voices and we hope that some singers may wish to progress to this professional choir further down the line.
